Women's History Month March Madness

Join the library for another round of March Madness: Women's History Month edition! This March we are featuring some of the best books by women of the 21st century, as listed by the New York Times. From March 2nd to April 13th, the St. Kate’s Library will host a bracket-style March Madness voting to determine which book is the best! You don’t have to have read the books to participate for a chance to win some NYT swag, including a cute Wordle tote! Here’s how to enter:

Complete your bracket and submit your predictions for the winner by March 8th. You can submit a paper bracket near the entry display at the library. Or, you can submit an electronic bracket via the following steps:

  • Click here to download your bracket.
  • Select “File > Make a Copy” and enter your picks.
  • Then, send your completed bracket to library@stkate.edu, either by sending a link or saving as a .pdf and sending as an attachment.
  • Be sure to include your name and email with your bracket submission so that we can contact you for prizes!

Vote for the Winners! Voting starts March 8th, with four rounds of voting. The votes will determine which books move on to the next round, so be sure to vote every round for a winner. Vote electronically here, or physically at the library!

  • Round 1: March 8th - March 16th
  • Round 2: March 16th - March 23rd
  • Round 3: (Semi-finals) March 23rd - March 30th
  • Round 4: (Finals) March 30th - April 6th

Winner(s) will be announced by April 13th. You just need to submit a bracket to enter, don’t worry about a perfect bracket! You’ll be contacted by email if you are a winner. We’ll also post the winning book on our Instagram account, @stkateslibrary.
